1. JOB ROLE
Execute high-precision rewinding and repair of various electric motors and pumps. The role demands expertise in restoring burnt motors to factory-level efficiency using correct copper gauge, insulation class, and winding techniques.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Diagnosis & Stripping (Pre-Repair)
• Inspect incoming burnt motors to identify the root cause of failure (Single phasing, overload, water entry, or bearing seizure).
• Accurately record "Winding Data" before stripping: Gauge size, number of turns, pitch, and connection type.
• Safely strip old copper windings without damaging the stator core/stamping.
• Clean and prep stator slots, removing old varnish and debris.

B. Rewinding Operations
• Cut and install slot insulation paper (Class B/F/H) based on motor specifications.
• Coil Making: Use winding machines to create uniform coils with the correct turn count and tension.
• Coil Insertion: Skillfully insert coils into slots without scratching the enamel (insulation) of the copper wire.
• Connections: Perform complex internal connections (Star, Delta, Series, Parallel) and solder lead wires securely.
• Finishing: Apply wedges, tie the winding head with lacing cord, and apply varnish (Dip/Bake process) for insulation strength.

C. Pump-Specific Mechanics
• Specialized handling of Submersible Pumps (V3, V4, V6, V8): Ensure water-tight cable joints and waterproof winding for water-filled motors.
• Inspect and replace mechanical components: Oil seals, mechanical seals, bushes, and thrust bearings during re-assembly.
• Ensure proper rotor alignment to prevent future heating issues.

D. Testing & Quality Control
• Perform electrical tests post-rewinding:
- Megger Test (Insulation Resistance).
- Continuity & Resistance Test.
- Earth Leakage Test.
• Conduct "No-Load" and "Full-Load" running tests to check Amps (current) and vibration levels.
